DSD Chemtech/MECS received 8 orders in the last two years for the delivery of Brink Mist Eliminators for new or modernized Chlorine electrolysis plants.
Most of the time the scope of supply includes wet chlorine, dry chlorine and hydrogen filters. Already for decades Brink Mist Eliminators are used in chlorine electrolysis plants. Due to the high efficiency of Brink Mist Eliminators they are nowadays the standard for chlorine electrolysis plants.

Sulfuric Acid Symposium
DSD Chemtech organizes together with MECS (former Monsanto Enviro-Chem) a Sulfuric Acid Symposium. The meeting takes place on March 8th+9th in Amsterdam.
Topics are new developments in sulfuric acid production, optimization of sulfuric acid plants and emission reduction. The lectures will be given in English language.

MECS will be the new company’s name.
The management team of Monsanto Enviro-Chem Systems, Inc. in partnership with American Industrial Partners has successfully completed the acquisition of Enviro-Chem’s worldwide business interests from Monsanto Company.
MECS will be the new company’s name. MECS will continue to operate the existing portfolio of businesses. The locations of offices and manufacturing facilities will remain unchanged.
Monsanto Enviro-Chem Systems was formed, as a wholly owned subsidiary, by Monsanto Company in 1969 through a consolidation of several existing process technology, product and services businesses, some of which were established as early as 1917.
