2008 – 50 years Brink Mist Eliminators
Since the development
Fifty years ago Dr. Joseph Andrew Brink developed the Brink Mist Eliminators to remove fine droplets out of process gas.
Nowadays the fiber bed mist eliminators especially developed to remove fine liquid droplets are state of the art in many chemical processes. Since the development in 1958 the Brink Mist Eliminators are improved continuously and adapted to many chemical processes and off gas applications. DSD Chemtech/MECS received 8 orders in the last two years for the delivery of Brink Mist Eliminators for new or modernized Chlorine electrolysis plants.
Most of the time the scope of supply includes wet chlorine, dry chlorine and hydrogen filters. Already for decades Brink Mist Eliminators are used in chlorine electrolysis plants. Due to the high efficiency of Brink Mist Eliminators they are nowadays the standard for chlorine electrolysis plants.
